Starting treatment

You're one step closer to achieving the smile you've always wanted! After your consultation, we will schedule your Start Appointment, at which time Dr. Farjo and her team place your new orthodontic appliances (or take a scan of your mouth if you choose Invisalign). The braces Start Appointment generally takes about 1-2 hours, and during this time our team ensures that you understand each step of the procedure and are as comfortable as possible.

frequency of visits

You'll see us every four to eight weeks for Dr. Farjo to check your progress and advance your treatment. It's very important to keep your regular appointments with us and follow all instructions carefully in order to obtain a fantastic result in the shortest length of time.

Our practice will work with you to make sure that your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, please let us know what days and times work best for you. We understand that “life happens"! If you're running late or need to reschedule, call us as soon as you can, and we will do our best to accommodate you

During treatment, definitely continue to visit your dentist every six months for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups. If extra dental care is needed, we're happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure that you are receiving the best care possible.
